Among Other Things, I’ve Taken Up Smoking

Here’s a book cover that caught my eye, it actually makes me want to read this book.
It’s got a lovely sense of odd balance, with the points of the city focusing you downwards toward the serenity of the landscape. The cropping of the landscape as well is very interesting.
As my editor at Business Today, Anand Raman told me once, “If you can make them pick it up off the rack, your job’s been done.”
I’ve also been meaning to link to this website for a while now, if you have any interest in Book Cover Design this is a great resource and a very well done website. As they put it: Covers is dedicated to the appreciation of book cover design.
