Poser resource for figure sketches
Thursday, May 29th, 2008
This is a great resource for folks who don’t have Poser and need reference poses of the human figure. Grid views and all.
Makes me want to grab a fresh copy of Poser and start playing again. I used the first few versions of Poser in the late ’90′s, it seems to have improved a lot since those days.

Benefits Supervisor Sleeping – Lucien Freud – $33.6 million
Thursday, May 15th, 2008
The highest price paid at auction for a work of art by a living artist, and he’s one of my favorites!
Can’t really find a larger version of the painting, will add it once it surfaces. I love seeing his brushwork.
Here’s a video from the sale:

Came across an interesting website today devoted to Moleskine art, it’s great to be able to see others sketchbooks, definitely worth bookmarking!
The sketch above, Snake Parade, is by the very talented Susan Rudat.
